Ultegra’s client required a solution to supply and maintain power for their critical internal WAP communications network that was located remotely from a reliable power source. A cost-effective option to supply the system with a stand alone power system was offered to the client that met the power requirements of the network and also stored sufficient energy for up to 4 days. The resultant stand-alone power system was modelled internally to optimize the sizing for each of the components of the system to ensure suitability and value for money.
